About us
Valakampiai Social Services Centre, a public-sector organisation
social care institution providing general and specialised social services for adult residents of Vilnius city with intellectual, psychosocial and complex disabilities.
- The institution was established by Vilnius City Council Resolution No. 3 of 16 January 1992 „On the establishment of the „Vilties namai“ care home at 44 Rulikiškių Street, Vilnius“.
*Note: The street name has been changed to Rukeliškių Street. - This was the first attempt in Lithuania to create a new type of residential home for people with intellectual disabilities.
Services
We provide long-term (short-term) social care, day social care, accommodation in supported living homes, social skills development, maintenance and/or restoration, and social workshop services to Vilnius city residents with intellectual / psychosocial and complex disabilities.

Short-term social care
Temporary complex support requiring ongoing specialist care is being provided to an individual for certain reasons. More

The individual is provided with comprehensive daytime support that requires constant supervision by specialists.
Supported living accommodation
Providing a suitable home environment and the necessary services, thereby enabling individuals to manage their own personal lives independently.
Development, maintenance and/or restoration of social skills
Services provided to individuals (families) to strengthen their communication skills (seeking help, adapting to new situations, participating in public life, establishing and maintaining relationships with relatives, etc.) More
Social workshop service
A service aimed at increasing individuals' opportunities for employment in the open labour market through meaningful work activities directed at the production of a specific good (product) and/or the provision and marketing of a service, and at developing, training and maintaining general skills and skills related to a specific work activity
Respite care service
