A service aimed at increasing individuals’ opportunities for employment in the open labour market by engaging them in meaningful work activities focused on the production of specific goods (products) and/or the provision and sale of services on the market, while developing, improving and maintaining general skills and skills related to specific work activities.

• The social workshop service is provided at the Social Workshop of Valakampiai Social Services Home.

• The Social Workshop provides social workshop services to 20 persons with intellectual and/or psychosocial disabilities who have been assessed as having a participation level of 0 to 55% (until 31 December 2023 – work capacity level), according to their needs, but no less than 3 days per week, from 2 to 10 hours per day.

The Social Workshop provides the following services: development of work skills (functions) according to the individual abilities of each person; occupational activities involving specific tasks; motivating and preparing individuals for employment in the open labour market; development and/or maintenance and/or restoration of daily living skills; restoration and/or acquisition and development of other skills (communication, cooperation, decision-making, etc.) related to the development of work-related abilities.
