Accommodation at the “Savi namai” Independent Living Home involves creating a home-like environment and providing the necessary services to adults with psychosocial disabilities who do not require continuous, intensive care, enabling them to manage their personal (family) lives independently.

  • The Independent Living Home provides social care and accommodation services to 28 adults residing in the city of Vilnius who have psychosocial disabilities and have been assessed as requiring independent living home services.
  • Individuals (families) are provided with the conditions to manage their household independently – carry out household chores, prepare meals, shop, manage their finances, and pay utility bills and other expenses.
  • Residents plan and carry out their daily activities independently, with partial assistance from social workers or social worker assistants.
