The Budgetary Institution Valakampiai Social Services Home is participating in the project “Ensuring the Quality of Social Services in Lithuania” (No. 07-008-P-0001). The aim of this project is to create conditions for improving and enhancing the quality of social services across all social service organisations operating in Lithuania.
On 23 July 2025, the European Social Fund Agency and the Budgetary Institution Valakampiai Social Services Home signed an agreement on participation in the pilot phase for implementing social service quality requirements.
Employees providing long-term social care services at the Budgetary Institution Valakampiai Social Services Home will participate in activities related to the implementation of the social services quality standard and carry out the necessary preparations for external evaluation, with the aim of implementing the basic level of requirements within 7 months from the start of the pilot phase.
The Description of Social Services Quality Requirements was approved by Order No. A1-833 of the Minister of Social Security and Labour of 4 December 2024.
From 1 January 2029, the basic-level quality requirements will become mandatory and will apply to all social services.
