On 23 February 2022, residents of Valakampiai Social Services Home visited the Trakų Vokė Manor. During the visit, the residents had the opportunity to view an exhibition of paintings by artist Rolandas Žigonis, take part in a painting workshop themselves, and meet and talk with the artist. Both the residents and the staff accompanying them were impressed by Rolandas’ paintings, as well as by his sincerity, friendliness, warm communication and openness. Resident Kristina: “I really liked Rolandas’ paintings. I liked him as a person too – he was very kind, and I would love to visit again... I enjoyed painting a rainbow, as well as the French pastries and tea they served us there. The women working there were also very nice... Daiva, Dovilė, Ieva.”
We sincerely thank the team of Trakų Vokė Manor, educator Daiva, and artist Rolandas Žigonis for enriching our time with beauty, fostering a sense of community, and for their kindness and love for people.
