“Great and good deeds bring people together.” Stefan Zweig. “There is no greater wealth in the world than friendship and sincere communication.” Canadian success coach John Kehoe. These words of wisdom perfectly describe the relationship between Valakampiai Social Services Home and our partners, whom we invited to the Partner Appreciation Celebration on September 15, 2022.
During the celebration, we highlighted and celebrated the activities of our partners in providing services to residents with disabilities and presented them with certificates of appreciation, in which we could mention only a small part of their many contributions. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the diverse and meaningful activities, creative workshops, excursions, educational programmes, donations of goods, consultations, staff training, assistance in resolving complex situations, emotional support, care, sincere communication, positive attitude, exhibitions, and many other activities provided by the following organisations: Day Centre “Šviesa”, Day Centre “Mes esame”, Public Institution “Markučiai” Day Activity Centre, Vilniaus Lakštingalos Namai, Public Institution Valakupiai Rehabilitation Centre, Public Institution “Artoteka”, Radvila Palace Art Museum, National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, Vytautas Kasiulis Museum of Art, Vilna Gaon Museum of Jewish History, Museum of Applied Arts and Design, National Gallery of Art, State Cultural Reserve of Kernavė, Public Institution “National Training Centre”, Special Social Care Home “Tremtinių namai”, Vilnius University of Applied Sciences, “Ecco” store, Lithuanian Welfare Society for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities “Viltis”, Rimantas Kaukėnas Charitable Foundation, Association “Red Noses Clowndoctors”, Order of Malta Relief Organisation, Labanoro Laumė, Public Institution cultural space Dūmų fabrikas, Public Institution “SOPA”, Public Institution “Rastis”, National Institute for Social Integration, MB “Pirmas blynas”, Naujoji Vilnia Eldership of Vilnius City Municipality, Public Institution “Naminukai”, Public Institution “Mental Health Perspectives”, Vilnius City Third Police Commissariat, and the Lithuanian Association of People with Mental Disabilities “Giedra”.
