Employees of the Valakampiai Social Services Home are preparing for the establishment of a Group Living Home at Tunelio St. 8 and continue communicating with the future residents of these homes, who are currently living at the N. Genytė Social Care Home.
During three meetings, the future residents took part in activities organized by the institution: wax candle making, soap making, and creating sand mandalas.
We continue working together to identify and discuss personal matters and expectations that are important to them.
During our last meeting, we visited the site to see the future Group Living Home currently under construction.
We are patiently waiting for the construction of the Group Living Home to be completed. In the meantime, we are doing our best to get to know the future residents and help them prepare as smoothly as possible for the move, settling into their new home, and starting a new chapter of their lives in Vilnius.
