We aim to improve public awareness and understanding of people with intellectual and/or psychosocial disabilities, their lives in the community, the challenges they face, and opportunities for mutually beneficial, respectful, and sensitive communication.
We sincerely thank the employees of UAB “Rimi Lietuva” for the warm meeting held on November 28, 2023, during which our staff shared information and experience gained in providing services to people with disabilities, including insights into the importance of appropriate communication, success stories and challenges faced by people with disabilities in the open labour market, mental health, and the harmful effects of stigma associated with mental health.
We believe that we will continue to develop our partnership with “Rimi” and are sincerely pleased that the organization is committed to educating its employees, thereby contributing to the creation of a society where everyone feels welcome and included.
