In December 2020, Valakampiai Social Services Home became a shortlisted finalist in the **“Outstanding Team”** category at the **European Social Services Awards**, organized by the European Social Network.
Valakampiai Social Services Home presented the project **“Cooperation at Valakampiai Social Services Home for People with Intellectual Disabilities.”**
The **European Social Services Awards** are held annually to recognize innovation and excellence in social services across Europe, highlighting successful new approaches and the outstanding work carried out by public social service managers, funders, planners, and providers.
The aim of these awards is to identify and promote best practices in social services, recognize outstanding work in the field, encourage colleagues to work together and support one another in improving their practices, and foster innovation in social services across Europe.
